The Mission & Vision of The Majlis As-Shura
The Majlis As-Shura of Atlanta Georgia is a tax-exempt 501-C3 organization established in Atlanta, Georgia. The purpose of the Majlis is to serve as a collective for the entire Muslim community in the city of Atlanta. The Majlis is comprised of Imam's representing each of the associated Masjid in the area.
The Majlis as a united front achieves 3 Main Functions:

Heighten Communication between Communities

Make Important Joint Decisions for the Communities

To Offer Support for Each Community
The Majlis meets monthly both virtually and in person. Community members are welcome to attend as meetings in most cases are open unless otherwise stated. Meetings typically last 60- 90 minutes long.

Mission
The Mission of the Majlis As-Shura of Atlanta Georgia is to strengthen the Muslim Community through fostering stronger collaborations and communications.
Vision
The Vision of the Majlis As-Shura of Atlanta is that through its collective work the Muslim Community of Atlanta will be transformed into a standard barrier of best practices in operating an ideal Muslim Community in the West.
